A partnership agreement has just been concluded between Michel Cosson, President of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, and Pierre-Ange Le Progam, the producer of the screen adaptation of Michel Vaillant's adventures, and Chief Executive Officer of EuropaCorp, the movie studio founded by Luc Besson.
This partnership will enable EuropaCorp de compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans behind the wheel of two cars, a LOLA and a Panoz, which will bear respectively Vaillante and Leader's colors within the DAMS team.
The film, whose release date is scheduled for summer 2003, will be directed by Louis-Pascal Couvelaire. The EuropaCorp teams and the ACO are already working together on the project to ensure its successful completion, and this, while ensuring that the 24 Hours proceed without a hitch.
