Team MER Announce Sponsors For 2007

Team MER is happy to announce a strong line-up of marketing partners for the 2007 Sirius Satellite Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship season. Each team entry will carry a primary sponsor of their own in addition to many associate logos.

We are very thankful of our marketing partners that help make our race program a success, said Shannon McMasters, Team MER principal. We have several associates for this year that deserve recognition for their support and we hope to make them proud this year.

Associate team sponsors include; Saferacer.com, a leading online supplier for driver & crew safety equipment and racing accessories, Optima Motorcoaches & Trailers, a supplier of premium aluminum toters and trailers that pay special attention to quality and detail, MiataCage.com, a leading constructor of high-quality safety roll cages for the Spec Miata and touring car market, MMP Design, a full-service design and marketing consulting firm, AIM Sports, supplier of MyChron data acquisition systems exclusively used by Team MER, Red Line Oils, manufacturer of synthetic motor oils, gear oils, additives and greases for competition and Victory Lane Data (VLD), a data acquisition service provider for racers.



In addition to the associate partners, each car's hood and rear bumper will adorn the driver's primary sponsor. Rick Bellew will campaign his #10 machine with support from B&W Supply. Anders Hainer, the 2006 Grand Am GS Champion will run a limited schedule in the #13 car with support from Under Armor, the originator of performance apparel. The #24 car driven by Forest Barber will carry the Feeds the Need Racing slogan and Jason Saini will return with support from TheAutobarn.com in the #28, a chain of quality new & used car dealerships, including some of the highest rated Mazda dealerships, in the Chicagoland area The #29 machined owned by Marc Miller and driven by Brett Smrz, has an awareness partnership with AutismSpeaks.org, an organization devoted to finding a cure for & raising awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder, an affliction affecting 1-in-10 children. The #30 car, driven by Andrew Caddell, will have support from Pinnacle Mazda, a Washington based Mazda dealership.

We hope to provide each team sponsor with the most exposure as possible through a variety of promotional programs, said Marc Miller, driver coach and team rep for Team MER. It is important for us to develop a promotion that will provide a good return to our sponsors. Whether it be special events, event hospitality, use of our Mazda6 Racing school and strong on & off track presence, we have everything in place to exceed our partner's expectations.
