COLORADO, January 2 / PRNews / - Faasst Performance Driving School, announced today that it is expanding their NASA Accredited Driving School schedule to include the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Pueblo Motorsports Park, Mid-America Motorplex, GingerMan Raceway, Grattan Raceway, Sandia Motorsports Park, Moroso Motorsports Park, No Problem Raceway, VIR, Roebling Road Raceway, Reno-Fernley Raceway and Texas World Speedway. Courses offered at the Faasst Performance Driving School are designed for new and experienced NASA racers, Time Trial competitors, and HPDE drivers.

Giving back to NASA and to the sport of amateur auto racing is a high priority for us. In addition to the benefits competitive racers experience, our program will also introduce first time HPDE drivers to a professional, fun and safe track experience. said Judy Faass, owner of FAASST Performance Driving School.

That enthusiasm comes from her years of racing with the SCCA organization under a National License. Open wheels were her adrenaline source of choice as she piloted Formula Fords. During her racing career, Ms. Faass actively took a hands-on role in everything racing from vehicle preparation, set-up, gearing selection, to engine building. That hands-on experience was clear to the NASA organization when they accredited the school's curriculum she developed. We are looking forward to an exciting first year of our Accredited Driving School program and our relationship with the Faasst Performance Driving School said Bryan Cohn, National Competition Manager for NASA Pro Racing.

Cody Powell, a rookie NASA racer and Faasst graduate, finished on the podium at the NASA National Championships in 2007. Cody attributes a lot of his success to solid preparation, maximizing his seat time and working with knowledgeable instructors at the FAASST Performance Driving School, FAASST was a huge part of my racing program last year. I was a complete auto racing rookie, but FAASST brought me up to speed almost immediately as I finished second in my first race and won my second. I believe FAASST was the single most important component of my winning season.

Popularity for the Faasst Performance Driving School continues to grow across the U.S. The school will be enjoying the 2008 season at tracks located throughout the country as they continue to expand their presence in the market place.
