It¹s been a long, but busy winter for the Farnbacher Loles Racing team. Team principal Gregory Loles is looking forward to this weekend¹s Grand-Am Rolex Series Bosch Engineering 250 at Virginia International Raceway. ³While the points you earn at Daytona are important, VIR really marks the beginning of the season for those teams that are running the full series. We¹re really excited about the driver pairings we¹ve put together this year. We¹ll have five different cars running this year, two of which will be campaigning the full season and both have to be considered title contenders.²

³In the #86 Porsche GT3 Cup, Eric Lux is teamed with Porsche factory driver Wolf Henzler. Even at his young age, Eric is a veteran of the series and has proven himself by running at the front at every track we run on including a podium finish at VIR in 2008. And Wolf is arguably one of the most talented sports car drivers on the planet. He¹s been with us in various capacities since we started this program more than four years ago and he¹s like family.²

³Driving the #87 Porsche are Leh Keen and Dirk Werner. Leh is one of those rare individuals who will drive anything and drive it well. He co-drove to a podium finish with Eric last year in this race and he is a fierce competitor. Dirk was little known in North America at the time, but he really proved himself in the series in 2007 when he swept the Series Awards, winning the Driver¹s Championship, Team Championship and Rookie of the Year.
The whole team is fired up and looking to get back to the track²

Lux is excited to getting back to racing, ³I am really looking forward to putting the race suit back on after this two and a half month break between races! After coming so close to winning the last race I can't wait to turn laps at VIR and go for a win. Last season Leh Keen and I had a great run finishing 3rd; hopefully this year we can do even better! I am excited to be able to share the car with Wolf again; last time that we co-drove at VIR Wolf was leading then there was contact between another car and it ended our hopes for victory. Farnbacher Loles always gives us the best car to work with so expect to see the 86 Porsche up front this weekend!²

Keen has been busy during the break including spending some time with his teammate Dirk in Werner¹s native Germany, ³I decided to go visit Dirk after Daytona since I¹d never been to Germany and I wanted to see where he lives and what life is like over there. We had a great time, did some snowboarding and skiing in Austria, and we went to the new Porsche museum. It was pretty amazing. Even got to attend a ŒFasching Party,¹ which is sort of like German Mardi Gras with everyone wearing costumes. It was a lot of fun. But I¹ve been running to stay in shape so I¹m feeling good heading into the rest of the season.²
