On Sunday May 17, the Farnbacher Loles Racing team will be utilizing all their resources as they take on both American Le Mans Series and Grand-Am Rolex Series races simultaneously. ³When the schedules were released, we new there would be a couple of conflicts,² said team principal Gregory Loles.
³But we¹re prepared and look forward to the weekend. Actually, we have unique crew and infrastructure for each series, so the only challenge really is the driver line-up. Dirk Werner and Wolf Henzler drive in both series for us. For this weekend, we are going to split them up. Wolf will be driving the Porsche RSR with Marc Lieb in the ALMS race in Salt Lake City. Meanwhile in Monterey, Dirk will be with his co-driver Leh Keen in the #87 while Kevin Roush partners with Eric Lux in the #86. It should be an exciting weekend for both the team and our fans.²

Farnbacher Loles Grand-Am effort looks to carry podium vibe to Laguna.

After a nearly flawless performance in the heavy rains of southern New Jersey, and the subsequent double podium celebration, the Farnbacher Loles Racing team is headed to Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California.
Following the Thunderbolt Race, Grand-Am officials made weight adjustments in an attempt to equalize performance among the leading three manufacturers in the series: Porsche, Mazda and Pontiac. While the Porsches swept the top spots in the rain at Thunderbolt, the Pontiacs and Mazdas have been considerably quicker in the dry conditions. ³The series feels the weight reduction will put us on a more equal footing,² said team principal Gregory Loles. ³I truly hope they are right. Rear tire wear has been a problem in the dry and we¹ve been unable to run at the front. This race should be a good indicator of the effectiveness of the changes.²

Leh Keen of Charleston, SC took his first win of the season at Thunderbolt with his co-driver Dirk Werner of Kissenbruck, Germany in their #87 Porsche
GT3 Cup. The two now sit second in points in the GT Class. At last year¹s Laguna Seca round, driving separate Farnbacher Loles entries, Werner started from the front row in P2, while Keen finished fifth in the race with Eric Lux.

Lux of Jacksonville, FL. will be driving with Kevin Roush of Upland, CA at Laguna Seca in the #86 Porsche GT3 Cup. Eric¹s third place finish at Thunderbolt leaves him only one point behind his teammates in the GT Class Championship.
