World Challenge Wednesday - Watkins Glen Special Edition - WC TC Race Report (July 8th, 2009) By Jim Bourn

"That is my one true advantage and I will take it!" - Seth Thomas on the advantages of being able to do victory donuts with his rear-wheel drive BMW.

Thomas and BimmerWorld win their second of the year in Watkins Glen thriller

Seth Thomas and his #38 BimmerWorld/GearWrench BMW 325 won the pole, kept it by winning the coin toss and led every lap on his way to winning the Touring Car segment of the Toyo Tires Watkins Glen Grand Prix Presented by Lala Motorsports.

"This win's probably just as important to me as the last one with all the stuff that's been going on, as busy as I've been and with the lack of sleep I've been getting from my newborn baby," said a happy Seth Thomas. "It's great though. The second is just as sweet as the first and I hope there's a lot more than this."

"I'm not super happy with my finish but it makes me super proud to have two BimmerWorld team mates finish up front," said BimmerWorld boss James Clay who faded from 4th to a 9th place finish himself. "Congratulations to Nick [Esayian] on his best finish ever and of course Seth winning his second race is awesome."
