The new Porsche Panamera S provided good vibes to N.Technology, at the end

of a 2-day non-stop test held at Vallelunga. The car, set to debut in the

SUPERSTARS SERIES during the upcoming round at Mugello (July 24-25), was

brought on-track by Fabrizio Giovanardi, who experienced several set-up

solutions without running in qualifying conditions.

The goal, set by Team Manager Tiziano Minuti, was to observe the overall

behavior of the car in relation to the technical modifications applied.

"We're extremely pleased - told Minuti - as we didn't experience a single

inconvenience, and on the other hand, we tried to understand how the car

work, as it proved really responsive to set-up changes".

The Italian driver clocked 32 laps on Saturday, before having the chance for

some longer runs on Sunday, on both dry and wet weather. The rain factor

proved quite valuable for the team in order to collect some different sets

of data. "For most part, we lapped with old tires and a lot of fuel on board

- continued Minuti - we have to learn the car's basics, rather than go for

one fast lap".

Giovanardi's best mark on Saturday was set in 1:42.736, before improving in

the first run on Sunday with a lap of 1:42.704.

While the SUPERSTARS SERIES was set for a break after the intense weekend at

Hockenheim, CAAL Racing also went on-track at Magione. The team owned by

Corrado and Luca Canneori ran on Saturday and Sunday with its two Mercedes

C63 AMG racecars, driven by Luigi Ferrara and David Baldi.
