The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) announced today that the 2013 NASA Championships will return to Miller Motorsport Park, September 5-8, 2013.
Miller Motorsports Park is in Tooele, Utah, is located just 35 minutes east of downtown Salt Lake City. Miller Motorsports Park is a state-of-the-art road racing facility and is widely considered to be one of the finest road racing parks in North America.
"We are thrilled to be able to return to Miller Motorsports Park, as it is truly one of the premiere tracks in the nation," Ryan Flaherty, NASA National Chairman said. "We had such a great experience at Miller during our 2009 and 2010 Championship events that returning was a natural. In addition, we've recently added the NASA Utah Region to our membership, so a return to this venue seemed like a perfect expansion of our relationship with the track."
The NASA Championships showcases over 400 of the best racers and teams from around the country. The 2013 weekend will mark the eighth year of this prestigious event, where competitors compete for more than $1 million dollars in contingency money and prizes.
"Our drivers and sponsorship partners count on NASA to deliver the most professional and exciting racing available," Flaherty continued. "We know Miller Motorsports Park has the facility and track to keep our commitment of professionalism to our racers and fans."
"Miller Motorsports Park was designed to host the most significant racing series, and the NASA National Championships is a perfect fit with our major-event lineup," Dan McKeever, Miller Motorsports Park Director of Track Operations and 2010 NASA Champion in Spec Miata said.
