TheRaceSite.com: You listed winning the CART Mazda Raceway Laguna event back to back as one of your proudest moments on racing. How much would it mean if you could taste victory at Le Mans? Bryan Herta: Huge! It would be the highlight of my career to date. It's a major race and that is why I am very excited about going there with the Panoz Team. I know I am going there with a chance of trying to do that.
TheRaceSite.com: At Sebring, there were problems with the Brakes. Has there been any development of that or is it just going to be, taking care of them even more? Bryan Herta: It was a problem that we identified and we changed a part, a style of part on the brakes that failed and it won't be a problem again. No we shouldn't have to baby the brakes at all.
TheRaceSite.com: Going from sprint racing last year to endurance racing this year did you do anything different with your fitness regime? Bryan Herta: Yes, it's a little bit different because in the Champ Cars you don't have to get out of the cars and rest for awhile and get back in. With the sportscars you focus a little more on recovery and endurance training.
TheRaceSite.com: What got you interested in auto racing? Bryan Herta: My dad took me to a race when I was six years old and I just loved it. I have always wanted to be a race car driver since I was a kid.
