Washington DC -- The Archangel Motorsport effort is on a hot streak as of recent. They have taken home two wins in their first three ALMS races they have entered. Can they take that luck into our nation's capital to take their third win of the season home?
DC resident William Langhorne will join British ace Ben Devlin in the team's #13 Marshall Cook / Grill2Go Millington-powered Lola B2K/40 on the grounds of the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium. The 5th round of the 10 event ALMS Championship will be a 2 hour and 45 minute race that will air for the first time on NBC beginning at 3:00pm EST on Sunday July, 21.
DC's own racer Will Langhorne had this to say about the National Grand Prix: "I am extremely excited to finally have the opportunity to race in my hometown of Washington, DC. It will be a unique and exciting thrill to drive at top speed in DC and keep my license when I'm finished. It is only fitting that such an international city should host an international series like the ALMS. I am fortunate to be racing here with a remarkable team and an accomplished teammate. Many of my friends and family will be here which will make that much more fun for me. Chris Lencheski has done a fantastic job to get this Grand Prix here and I can't thank him enough.
