The goal of Quebec's GTO/GTU championship is to have a category that will accommodate all types of sedans. In addition to the regular GTO/GTU competitors the grid will often include cars from the Honda/Michelin, Toyota Echo and FAQ Touring series. The races are 40-minutes long and drivers are required to make a pit stop. The GTO class is for cars with engines over 3-liters or turbocharged. At Trois Rivieres Marc-Antoine Camirand captured the overall and class win in a supercharged BMW Z3 Coupe. The GTU category is for under 3-liter cars. Finishing second overall and taking the class victory was Fernando Scattolin in a Porsche 911.
